Trekkie Talk was a Star Trek newsletter published by the Austrek fan club in Melbourne, Victoria.

Austrek is the second oldest Star Trek fan club in Australia, and began publishing Trekkie talk in December 1976 The second issue appeared in January 1977, but Austrek decided to change the name to The Captain's Log in February 1977, and began the numbering again with this issue
