Trace currently writes and publishes Quitter, a work of creative non-fiction. Quitter is in limited distribution with issue number four due in Spring 2007.
Trace compiled and wrote for the zine pAwn in 2001/2002 and was editor of the online literary zine Wilmington Blues from 1999 to 2004. He has also contributed to Slave and the now defunct Wilmington, NC based weekly paper The Outrider.
Trace lives in Wilmington, North Carolina.
