The Quirk is a for-charity print-only literary zine. Before it was a literary zine, it was a local general interest zine, and raised over $3,000 for good causes around the world through the sales of the zine itself, as well as merchandise, such as t-shirts, pins, and Music Of The Quirk CD's.

Every penny of profit earned by The Quirk goes to some charitable cause around the world.

The Quirk is editted by Kaveh Akbar and Erik Scott. They are currently working on putting together the first issue, which will feature some of the top poets in the small press, including S.A. Griffin, justin.barrett, David Blaine, t. kilgore splake, JD Nelson, Nathan Graziano, C. Allen Rearick, Michael Lee Johnson, Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal, Oren Wagner, A.D.
