The Year of the Kaet is a tri-annual zine review of the life and times of Miss Kaetlin Perna seeking out adventures in a small city with nothing to do but stare out her window and imagine the back of the building next to her looking like hanging tea candles. Always an urban adventurer, Kaetlin ponders her life through columns, correspondences and other random musings.

Confessions of a Bohemian Sellout

Kaetlin recollects memories of her birthday, bemuses over Billy Joel and dreams of making whoopee with a stranger in Times Square to Bob Segar's "Night Moves."

I'm not a comedian, damn it!

September 2006 - December 2006.
Kaetlin begins her professional career attempting to freelance for the local alternative newspaper, touring open mics in New York City and takes time off from writing following creative exhaustion.
