Underground novelist Leopold McGinnis' first novella about an artifact theft in pre-WWII Algeria. Half-parody, half-hommage to the silver screen film noir classics, The Red Fez irreverantly follows the adventures of several diverse characters, each believing themselves to be the rightful owner of stolen object they all seek: Habibi Al-Adiz, mustachio wax and brasier wearing theif, Pierre Rensard, cheif of the occupying police, Sylvia Longshot, English gun-runner and supposed husband murderer, and Savid, propietor of THE underground gambling establishment.

The First 200 copies of The Red Fez were hand made by the author, the first 50 are numbered.
