The Banana King is a Chicago, IL., U.S.A. based zine published by A.B. Drea.

It was named after a line in the Jack Kerouac novel On The Road; at one point in the book a discussion takes place during which one of the characters espouses on the virtue and purity of being the 'Banana King,' the guy who sells bananas. The zine is known for being a outlet for local writers and contributors have included Emerson Dameron.
