The concept of 'Ten Thousand Things' is that each illustrated page of each issue covers one idea. For example issue #33 counts down from thing #9448 - #9432. Two examples of the topics include; 'does orange and syringe rhyme' and 'lyric choices in Bowie's Space Oddity song'.
