Teen Punk came out in the 1980's. It was a punk zine, focusing on the hardcore and punk scene in New Jersey and the rest of the country. Issue one contains a non-interview with Glenn Danzig, in which the editor proceeds with an interview that the singer had first agreed to and later backed out of. No questions get answered, but many opinions from the editor get aired. There are reviews of recordings by bands such as Otto's Chemical Lounge, Government Issue, Dead Milkmen, and The Burnt, and reviews of videos such as Hardcore, The Right Side Of My Brain by Richard Kern, The Skate Death Video, and issues 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Flipside Video Fanzine releases. There are also articles on new bands, drawings, and comics, including Baboon Dooley by John Crawford, and a "Teen Punk Pin-Up".
Contributors included John Crawford, Metal Mike Ferris, Bruce Gallanter, Dave 'Run It', and Shane Williams.
