This doesn't publish zines; its people who were involved in zines and now have moved on!! If their previous involvement in zines was significant in some way, then there could be pages on the individuals themselves but as this project does not publish nor relate to zines then it should be deleted. I think zine wiki is documenting zines as independent media, not documenting all independent media.--[[User:Eugenepunk|Eugenepunk]] 03:46, 6 September 2007 (EDT)

I wanted to note two things: first, that the article seems much better now that its been edited. It now seems clear that Featherproof has been publishing books by zinesters who still are involved with zines. Eugenepunk is right, Zine Wiki doesn't document all independent media, but we will document independent media with an obvious, clear connection to zines, such as featherproof books seems to have, now that it's been edited. Good job on the editing, Idigadverbs and Ztron. Second, please don't remove the delete notification until editors get a chance to give their opinions. Despite the fact that two of the staff members do have a connection to zines, one as art director for Punk Planet and one contributed writing to McSweeneys, this publisher doesn't publish zines, it publishes books. And I any entry reads like a sorporate publicity sheet, this one does. There are more and more entries like this one appearing on Zine Wiki, entries that sound more like job resumes for corporate clients than anything relating to zines. I'm nominating this for deletion. It's a slippery slope and soon every publisher and art director will begin posting their resume on Zine Wiki in order to boost their on-line visibility.InvisibleFriend 17:35, 5 September 2007 (EDT)

I love, too, that the first thing they include in the article is a link to Publishers Group West. That says it all.InvisibleFriend 17:39, 5 September 2007 (EDT)

The staff section was extraneous. it has been removed. I do think featherproof fits under the umbrella of "independent media," though, and the mini-books are free and mostly DIY.-User:Idigadverbs

Um, also McSweeneys is distributed by Publishers Group West. That's because they are an independent press distributor.-User:Ztron24
