What you hold in your hand(s) is one of the first available copies of Serotonin. It was recorded in a basement with an inexpensive 8 track in true d.i.y. style. It was his first attempt at mastering and only the third time ever recording and mixing. Everything you hear was done by OBiRiON.  Understand that it may take some time getting acquainted with this new sound called ‘Wobble n Womp’. It’s like Rock n Roll, only a little different.

Hey, Thanks for considering me putting up a new page for myself. It seemed likea greatidea. Thank once more -Erick

That sounds great!

Hi Dan, thanks so much for your offer! I very recently got a new computer with Windows XP and I really don't have any programs to speak of. I don't have "Photoshop" or "Illustrator", or any programs like that, so I can't resize my own scans. Eugenepunk resized a bunch for me, which was really great, but I don't want to impose on him each time I want to put up a new image on Zine Wiki! So, any help or any ideas you can offer would be really appreciated Dan, and thanks so much for your offer! It sounds great! InvisibleFriend 01:54, 12 September 2007 (EDT)

Hi Dan, i am a contributer to the Hey 5 zine tumblr, i was wondering if you could link it somewhere on your front page www.heyfive.tumblr.com

thanks

Re:New Administrators

Hi Dan, thanks for letting me know. Now we can all fight over Zine Wiki policy! ; ) I'm just kidding. InvisibleFriend 18:07, 11 December 2007 (EST)

Thanks Dan for making me an administrator!--Eugenepunk 03:04, 12 December 2007 (EST)

==Hey Dan. We were wondering why there's a message at the top of every page - Warning: Missing argument 2 for w/ParserFunctionsLanguageGetMagic() in /homepages/33/d924998007/htdocs/wiki/extentions/ParserFunctions/ParserFunctions.php on line 144 It seems to be on everyones' computer - does it also appear on yours?InvisibleFriend 03:16, 2 March 2008 (EST)

Yeah, Alan's working on it. Apparently the server was hosting ZineWiki was hacked and it's not an easy fix. I know, it sucks! dan10things 13:12, 3 March 2008 (EST)

delete Template:Reflist ?

Can you please delete Template:Reflist? I was going to add a few related templates, but I assumed they wouldn't solve the "Unknown extension tag "references"" error. --EarthFurst 23:24, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi Dan,

I had added Janet, a zine collaboration I'm a part of. It disappeared, so I've added the link again. I wonder if it seemed to violate copyright, so it was removed? Not sure...it's all our work. - Janet

Interested in an article about Alaska zines?

hey dan,

i was wondering, would zinewiki need/be interested in an article about Alaska Zines? Something that could go at the front pages (if I'm understanding the "feature" thing correctly!)

A couple Crap Hound corrections...

Hello! I just made several corrections and additions to the Crap Hound page and have two small requests for changes I can't figure out how to make myself: Could you correct the heading title to read "Crap Hound" (it's currently one word) and move it from the Washington zine list to the Oregon zine list? Thank you! xc

Not Seeing The Pageviews

Hi Dan, I just wanted to pop in and ask you about the pageviews. Ahem, not that I constantly look at my own page's views, but occasionally I do, and I noticed something... It's been at the exact same number for months on end. So I finally decided to ask some friends to post, just to see if it changed... and it didn't. So I was wondering if there's something wrong with the page counters, or whatever. It is not a super big deal, but I try to use the ZW pages to promote the zines, etc.. etc.. and I just wanted to make sure the stats were correct. Also, did you happen to see my post from a while back, about doing an article on a brief history of Alaska zines? Let me know, alright? take care,man----Josh

POC Zine Project introduction

Hi Dan,

My name is Daniela and I am the founder of the POC Zine Project. I recently created this page for POCZP:

http://zinewiki.com/Poc_zine_project

Will you please let me know if I need to change anything? I tried to follow the formatting protocol but this is my first wiki entry, so I appreciate any tips :)

Also, I'm having trouble finding a page on this wiki that lists zines by people of color. Does that exist, and if it doesn't, can I help create one?

You can reach me at daniela@dcapmedia.com. Thanks again!

The journey began in Philadelphia in the year 2003. OBiRiON was nothing more than an idea of vibrations struggling to find the right sound spot. Fun was bleeding down a stream, to find a river, towards an ocean. Only two raw basement tapes were ever made during those early days.

Things were degenerating steadily by the time 2004 was in full swing. A wild party landed OBiRiON in the slammer for two years on drug related charges. The decision was made to evacuate the northeast after being released. With hope of finding a cool new band, Oakland became base for the next six years.

Playing the bay circuit proved to be a great experience. Different pseudonyms were used for gigs including Video Fizz and Urine Poop. Nights of crazy warehouse and dive bar shows with the likes of Ty Seagull, Thee Oh Sees, and Gris Gris are pressed and sealed forever. One demo containing nine instrumental tracks was released around the bay in 2009.

Things started simmering like a fowl meat stew in the summer of 2012. So, OBiRiON hit the road to find a new home once more. He was drawn to his new hometown of Nashville by unknown forces. It is here that a major decision was made.
