Star blanket river child is a student living in Halifax, Nova Scotia who writes the perzine Gathered Years. She is also an avid letter writer, cat lover, gardener, creative writer, and dinosaur enthusiast.
Gathered Years is about home, cats, being a writer, being a student, being young, growing up and reasons for living. There are currently three issues in print.
She has also written the zines Ordinary (1 and 2), Death Never Says My Dear, Uncurl Squirrel, One Year of Love, and Female Woman Lady.
