Star*Line is a science fiction poetry newsletter published by the Science Fiction Poetry Association in Florida, U.S.A.

Star*Line was founded in January 1978 by Suzette Haden Elgin as a forum and networking tool for poets writing fantatic poetry, which includes everything from science fiction, to the macabre, to straight science, and the surrealistic.

Initially, Starline was published twelve times a year. As of 1980, it was published six times a year. In 1982, Robert Frazier took over from Suzette Haden Elgin for four years. From 1986 till 1988, the editor was Elissa Malcohn. Robert Frazier returned from 1988 till 1991, followed by Richard Rowand for a year, Marge Simon for 1992 till 1995, David C. Kopaska-Merkel from 1996 till 2002; Tim Pratt from 2002 till 2004, and Marge Simon returning in 2004. As of 2011, Simon remains editor. In 2011 Star*Line became a quarterly.

Star*Line has had many contributors, some of who have also been editors and small press publishers. Of note are Mike Allen, Ruth Berman (SF - sh Fanthology), Bruce Boston, G. Sutton Breiding (The Punk-Surrealist Cafe), Andrew Darlington (Ludd's Mill), Thomas M. Disch, Denise Dumars, Steve Eng, Marcus Ewert, Janet Fox (Scavenger's Newsletter), W. Paul Ganley (Amanita Brandy, Eerie Country), Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (Meteor Contemporary Poetry Project), Sandra Hall (Vector), Jacie Ragan, Wendy Rathbone, Jessica Amanda Salmonson (Windhaven, Young Tyrone: A Melodrama), Ann K. Schwader, Darrell Schweitzer, Meg Smith (Red Eft), Steve Sneyd (Data Dump), Steve Rasnic Tem, and Neal Wilgus.

Other poets featured include Nancy Bennett, Tippi N. Blevins, David Bunch, J.W. Donnelly, John Grey, Charlee Jacob, Mike Johnson, Peter Roberts, Karen Verba, and others.
