Specula was a science fiction fanzine edited by Arthur Louis Joquel II published in 1941 from Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.

Two issues were released, the first in January of 1941, the second in March of 1941.

The first issue contained fiction by Norman Anthony, William Graham, Carlton Greene, Joquel, and Ko Rin; poetry by Mischa Jaroff; and articles by Forrest J Ackerman, co-editor of Voice of the Imagi-Nation, and Carlton J. Fassbeinder (Bedside), the pen name of T. Bruce Yerke, editor of The Damn Thing. Interior illustrations were by Altheda O'Brien.

The second issue contained fiction by Joquel and Henry Andrew Ackerman; poetry by Mischa Jaroff and Corrine Ellsworth; and articles by Forrest J Ackerman, Walter J. Daugherty, and others.

Arthur Joquel also published the fanzines FMZ Digest and Sun Trails, and was the editor of Shangri L'Affaires for the years 1942 - 1944. As well, he was a contributing editor to Theosophia magazine in the 1940s.
