Robert W. Howington (a/k/a "The Loser") is best known for the zine Losers Are Cool. His raw, aggressive brand of writing (sometimes called "shockism") is heavily influenced by Charles Bukowski. He has produced anthologies, chapbooks, and broadsides of his and others' work. He has written poems, short stories, cartoons, recordings, letters, etc. and has been featured in the zine WoRMfEA$t!. He is also known for the series of books called Drive-by-Books, and for feuding with other writers.
