R!R! started out as a split zine between two friends in Cardiff and Brighton but now both live in London. It is supposedly a music zine, though very rarely features reviews or interviews, but mostly surreal examinings of bands and musicians or music 'scenes' through things such as fake agony aunt columns, celebrities talking about their favourite new bands or dissections of indie-celeb brains. It often features irreverent articles such as food recipies, guides to things and colouring competitions.
R!R! also functions as a distro selling zines by other people, at gigs around london and events like ladyfest and zine conventions.
To date there have been 5 issues and is still running.
