Rae, also known as Rae (the angry goth queen), is a zinester from Omaha, Nebraska, USA. She runs Girl Gang distro and writes several zines, mostly of the perzine genre, including the series Suburban Gothic and the one-shots scatterheart and scrawled. Rae has also contributed pieces to other zines, such as Eye Candy, A Shout in the Street, and Syndicate Product, and was co-editor of The Midwest Compilation Project zine.
Rae was born in 1981, is a Gemini, and has mostly dropped use of her "angry goth queen" surname in latter years. She is currently working on the long-delayed seventh issue of suburban gothic, as well as a new series called cinderella undercover.
