Rad Dad is a zine published in California, U.S.A., dealing with fathering from a feminist, anti-authoritarian, radical bent.

Rad Dad was started by Tomas Moniz to try and break the silence between men about fathering. It challenges the traditional male role in childrearing of being a distant disciplinarian and features contributions from different men on their fight to father in a different way.

Ariel Gore of Hip Mama called Rad Dad "the best new zine of 2005," going on to say that "THIS ZINE ROCKS. It's the radical, anarchist, feminist zine by and for rad fathers we've been waiting for."

Selections from Rad Dad are included in volume nine of Zine Yearbook, published in 2008.

Rad Dad was selected as the winner of "Best Zine" in the 2009 Utne Independent Press Awards by the editors of Utne Reader, who praised the zine as "a vital addition to the parenting lexicon."
