Current revision

Protest zine is a anarcho punk and crust punk zine from Cork, Ireland.

Protest zine was/is written by Sean Fitzgerald, with contributions by various others at the start. Around 10 issues were released a year between 1989 and 1997. With interviews, zine and music reviews the zine mainly covering crust, anarcho bands, animal rights, homebrewing, squatting etc.

Protest zine came back in 2002 as a website. 2003 saw the release of it in print again, with a much better distribution. There is also a few label releases (Fleas and Lice/Violent Phobia, Stress, compilation benefit for food not bombs).
