Please Don't Feed the Bears was a vegan cookzine from the mid 1990s.
Originally started as a compilation of recipes submitted to Soy Not Oi, the zine's focus is on simple recipes for vegan comfort food. In addition to recipes, death metal song suggestions and rants on the benefits of a vegan lifestyle add a flavor of anarchy to the heavily illustrated zine.
A book with selections from three issues of Please Don't Feed the Bears, along with the addition of new material, was published in 2007 by Microcosm Publishing (Portland, ISBN 097705571X).
