Ornithopter (198?-?) was a science fiction fanzine published by Leigh Edmonds in Canberra, ACT.

Edmonds won a Ditmar Award for Best Fanzine in 1984 for his two zines Ornithopter and Rataplan which was co-edited with Diane Bangslund, and then later with Valma Brown.

Contributors to Orthinopter included Joseph Nicholas (Vector).

Leigh Edmonds also co=published the fanzines The Notional, with Valma Brown, and Fuck The Tories, with Valma Brown
