Northern Renewal is a zine based in Glasgow, Scotland. It documents and supports emerging artwork from creative folks based in Scotland, or who take Scotland as a subject.

Northern Renewal is edited by Amy Shipway and Katie Gallogly-Swan. The zine is largely inspired by the groundswell of creativity resulting from the Independence Referendum in 2014. This political moment has impacted the national life of Scots by forcing them to rethink nationality and identity, and so has resulted in a tremendous amount of creative fallout.
