Nocturne was a 'little' magazine edited and published by Michael J. Lotus and Vincent L. Michael.

Nocturne was a Symbolist, horror, and surrealist-infused magazine that appeared in the 1980s, which included work by i. arguelles, Bruce Boston, G. Sutton Breiding (The Punk-Surrealist Cafe, Eboh Lute), Denise Dumars, Thomas Ligotti, Todd Mecklem, Steve Rasnic Tem, Jessica Amanda Salmonson (Fantasy macabre), Thomas Wiloch, Billy Wolfenbarger, and others.

Also published in its pages: an annotated translation of de Nerval's El Desdichado by Eric Basso. The publication contained photographs, collage, and various artwork as well.
