Mindsparks

Mindsparks was a science fiction fanzine published by Molecudyne Reasearch and edited by Catherine Asaro.

Published in Laurel, Maryland, U.S.A. the 1990s, the first issue was released in August 1993. The Associate Editors were Risa Stewart and Kathleen Woodbury. Issue 3 was released in December 1993, the 4th issue in 1994, and the 5th in September 1994.

Contributors of writing included Catherine Asaro, John Kendall Cannizzo, Ph.D., Alta Charon, Hal Clement, Marianne Dyson, Jim Elliott, Loring Emery, Roy Gray, Cynthia Griffin, Larry Hammer, C.W. Johnson, T. Jackson King, David C. Kopaska-Merkel, Michael J. Mehl, J.A. Pollard, Philip Schewe, Dave Slusher, Gene Stewart, Sandy Stewart, Scott C. Virtes, and Tim White..

Fiction was contributed by Kent Brewster, James S. Dorr, Lawrence Greenberg, Lois H. Gresh, Paul Levinson,, G. David Nordleu, Melinda Redstone, Charles M. Saplak, Sandy Stewart, and K.D. Wentworth. Poetry was by Robert Frazier (Star*Line).

Contributors of artwork included Cathy Buburuz, Charles S. Fallis, and Alfred Klosterman.

Included were interviews with Gregory Bennett, Kate Elliot, and William Gibson (Genre Plat).

Letters came from Robert C. Danley and John L. French, among others.

In 1996, Catherine Asaro and Marianne Dyson edited Mindspark Science Fiction Poetry, featuring poems by Ruth Berman (SH - sf Fanthology, T-Negative), among others.
