Formed in 2002, the instigator of the group was [[Elke Zobl]], founder of the Grrrl Zine Network. As a visiting graduate student from Austria, Elke networked with local zinesters in San Diego. She hooked up with [[Margarat Nee]], creator of [[Oya]] and [[Radical Pet]], Glue Magazine’s [[Claudia Lucero]], [[Kim Riot]], creator of Grrrl Noire and Cyclette, and Wives Tale’s editrix Britton Neubacher. Claudia and Britton left the main collective to pursue their careers in 2004. Ari Perezdiez of [[HousewifeXcore_Distro|HousewifeXcore Distro]] joined the [[collective]] in August of 2004 as a guest speaker and formally joined in December 2004.

Entremettrum
Issue One

Entremettrum was a narrative and illustrative zine in the Catalan language, produced in Girona, Spain by Pere Saguer.

It started with a very local and friendly distribution of 20 or 30 copies. For the third issue the zine got some help from l'Estació Jove (a youth office were you could receive some help) and started to grow. From that time on the zine could be found in places like comic shops, libraries and city centers. The time between publishing another issue increased more and more, until it ended with issue #9. Each issue had a subtitel. The last issue was called Pits/Tits and contained some nudity. Becaus of this the supporting youth office stopped the collaboration. Entremettrum was a D.I.Y. zine.
