Jessica Mills is a zinester, author, musician, and political activist living in Florida, U.S.A.

Jessica's zine, Yard Wide Yarns, was started in 1993. In July 2000, she wrote a feature about "punk parenting" for Maximum Rock 'N' Roll, which became a regular column. She compiled the writing from the first year of the MRR column into Yard Wide Yarns issue 8. Additional writings taken from and inspired by that column were published in 2007 as a book, My Mother Wears Combat Boots: A Parenting Guide for the Rest of Us (Oakland, Calif.: AK Press, ISBN 1904859720). The book includes parenting advice, personal anecdotes, and political discussion.

She has also contributed to Mamaphiles zine.

Jessica Mills has been featured in interviews by zines such as Hip Mama and Absent Cause.
