'Jeez Louise' is a distro, based in Leeds, UK. This was formerly the Manifesta Distro.
Manifesta was a Leeds, UK based feminist collective, organising gigs and clubnights in Leeds between 2002 and 2009, and they also ran a distro. The collective is no longer active, but one of the members wanted to keep the distro running, so it made sense to give it a new identity.
The distro was started with some stock from the Manifesta days, including back issues of the Manifesta collective zine Reassess Your Weapons. Some zines from the former Cause and Effect Distro were also inherited.
The identity of the distro and the zines on the catalog have shifted slightly from its Manifesta roots, but it has kept its queer, feminist focus.
