Jack Avery is a fanzine editor from Santa Rosa, California.
Mr. Avery founded the fanzine Science Fiction / San Francisco, inspired by the work of Arnie Katz in his zine Vegas Fandom Weekly. Avery edited ten issues, then allowed Chris Garcia and Jean Martin to take over as co-editors while Avery continued doing the lay-outs. After ten more issues, Jack quit doing the layout.
In May of 2007, Jack Avery debuted From Alien Shores and zine covering Asian science fiction and fantasy as well as some science fiction content.
