Idiot Chaos is published in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. It was begun in the 2000s and is done for the Esoteric Order of Dagon, an Amateur Press Association devoted to H. P. Lovecraft.

Idiot Chaos is named after the Lovecraft character 'Azathoth', who he described as "the blind and idiot chaos at the centre of infinity".

Idiot Chaos could be described as a 'Lovecraftian perzine', and has featured writing by Wilum Pugmire and photos from his trip to Lovecraft's home town, Providence, Rhode Island.

Wilum Pugmire also published the fanzines Midnight Fantasies, Old Bones, asnd Visions of Khroyd'hon in the 1970s, and Punk Lust and Queer Madness in the 1980s.
