Hausfrau is a parenting zine created by Portland, Maine, U.S.A. resident Nicole Chaison.

Labeling Hausfrau a "muthah-zine," Nicole describes it "chronicling the roller coaster of passion that is parenting." The heavily illustrated zine started in Spring 2003 and has included contributions from other parents.

A play inspired by the zine, The Passion of the Hausfrau, was created in 2008, and the following year a book of the same title was published (New York: Villard, 2009, ISBN 0345507959).
