Graymalkin was published in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. and was first released in 1978. Denise Leigh continued to release issues up to #6, which appeared in 1981. It was 8 1/2 by 11" zine featuring articles, reviews, stories and letters.

Contributing writers included Don Ford, Stephen Leigh, Jodie Offut, Lou Tabakow, Bob Tucker (Le Zombie).
