Gothique was a fanzine edited by the collective of Jean Dempsey, David Griffiths, Ernest Harris, Stan Nichols and Derek Stokes.
Gothique was a fantasy and horror fanzine with ties to science fiction. The first issue was published in July 1965 in the UK. The last regular release was issue 9, published in October 1969. By this point the remaining editors were David Griffiths and Stan Nicholls. The last issue, #10, was published in an extremely limited run of 40 copies in March 1970, until the Special Anniversary Issue appeared in July 1985.
Contributing writers included Mike Ashley, Juliette Bentley, Eddy C. A 20th Anniversary Issue was released in July 1985 that featured a portfolio of artwork by David Britton, Brian J. Frost, Alan Hunter and Moy Read, with an introduction by Julian Dubois, and writing by Ramsey Campbell, Ernest Harris, Martin Lock, Stan Nichols, and David Sutton. Also featured was an interview with Lon Chaney, Jr. by Alan White. The cover was by David Griffiths with interior art by Dave Baldock-Ling, Jim Cawthorn, J. Frost, David Griffiths, Alan Hunter, Terry Jeeves, Robin James and Moy Read.
