Flea Beetle is a hard-hitting zine out of Toledo, Ohio.
Essays discuss contradictions inherent in states and governments whose support of tobacco growers and corporations belie stated, official health policies. Flea Beetle provides a critical analysis of addiction culture and one-dimensional society, as posed by Herbert Marcuse and other social philosophers. An edgy, anarchist voice against consumerism and the promotion of tobacco in the mass media.
Flea Beetle is issued irregularly in an 8 x 5.5 in. format, with bright yellow covers.
