Enigmatic Tales was a small press quarterly anthology of horror stories and artwork edited by Len Maynard and Mick Sims, and published in the UK by Enigmatic Press.

Eight issues of this title appeared, the first in 1998. All covers were by Iain Maynard.

The first issue of Enigmatic Tales was published in the Summer of 1998. Contributors of artwork were Des Knight, Colin Langeveld, and Iain Maynard. Contributors of writing were Simon Bestwick, Paul Bradshaw, Nigel Brown, Bernard Capes, Allison Cologna, Paul Finch, John B Ford, Howard Pease, David Price, and editors Maynard & Sims.

Issue 2 appeared Autumn 1998. Contributors of artwork were Alan Hunter, Des Knight, Steve Lines, and Iain Maynard. Writing came from Alan Austin, Simon Bestwick, Nellie K Blisset, Allison Cologna, John Davis, Paul Finch, Rhys Hughes, Colin Pink, Joe Rattigan, R.E. Vernede, and editors Maynard & Sims.

Enigmatic Tales Issue was released Winter 1998, and included a Christmas Card, with prose by Chris Fox, illustrated by Iain Maynard. Contributing artists for this issue were Gerald Gaubert, Colin Langeveld, Steve Lines, Iain Maynard Contributing writers were , Nigel Brown, David Cowdall, David Christopher, B.M. Croker, Trevor Denyer, W. D. Dobell, Paul Finch, Gerald Gaubert, Paul Joyce, A. F. Kidd (Picatrix), Robert E Murphy, Martyn Prince, Peter Tennant, and Geoffrey Warburton.
