Dishwasher zine followed editor/publisher Dishwasher Pete's (Pete Jordan) mission to wash dishes in all 50 U.S. states. 15 issues were published during the 1990s and 2000s and a Dishwasher book is set to be published in 2007.

One issue came with an accompanying 7" compilation called Music to Wash Dishes By.
