David Nichols is a musician and zinester from Australia.

In the 1980's and 1990's Nichols was a member of the band The Canannes, an influential lo-fi independent group who released recordings on K Records and John Porcellino's label Spit and a Half. He has also been in the bands Huon and Driving Past, and appeared on a single by The Go Team, a band from Olympia, Washington, helmed by Calvin Johnson and Tobi Vail.

David Nichols was a part of the underground zine scene in the 1980's and 1990's, contributing to a number of zines in Australia and the U.S., such as Boysville U.S.A., published by fellow Go Team member Jeffery Kennedy.
