Darby Romeo is a San Francisco, CA writer and publisher of the defunct Ben Is Dead and organizer behind 1996's infamous Kill Zinesters Tour that helped bring zines a lot of press attention and new fans through a series of zine conventions revolving around a zinester bus tour to around 20 U.S. cities.
