Brass Milk was created in 2004 by a young girl, who, after seeing that the only zine on the island could be greatly improved on, decided that she would try her hand at creating one.

The zine encompassed mostly poetry, art and some random blurbs, all by the creator. She considered branching out into including submissions of others but realised that she couldn't see their works fitting into the vision that she had for her 'zine. The 'zine ran for about 2 years and remains on a hiatus, but apparently, a new issue is in the works. And, instead of being done on the computer, will be done in the more classic fashion of cut and paste work and mostly by hand.
