Garcia started adding zines that would be sent to him in trade for his own zines, as well as older zines that he'd buy on-line in auctions or at various meetings and conventions. A large donation from [[Don Simpson]] added a number of zines from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s from notable fanzine fans like [[Bill Rotsler]], [[John Purcell]] and [[Mike Glicksohn]]. By the end of 2006, there were some 200 different titles in the archive, including zines from as early as 1946. There are printed versions of many [[Webzine]]s in the archive as well. <br /> <br /> == Events/Projects ==<br /> <br /> The BArea Fanzine Archive provides fanzines to various West Coast Science Fiction Conventions, including Baycon and the 2007 Westercon.
