Art Widner (sometime written as R Twidner, born 1918) is a science fiction fan and zine publisher.
Art Widner is recognized for his role in organizing the first SF fanclub in Boston with Louis Russell Chauvenet, Gertrude Kuslan, Louis Kuslan, R.D. Swisher, and others, called "The Stranger Club", in 1940.
Art's first zine, co-edited with Earl Singleton (Nepenthe) and Francis Paro, was called FanFare. After he released this zine he, along with Louis Russell Chauvenet and Damon Knight, was responsible for the formation of the National Fantasy Fan Federation. His current FAPA zine YHOS is one of the longest running zines still being published. First published from 1940 till 1945, Widner is well known for ceasing publication of YHOS for more than thirty years before resuming putting out issues and becoming an important part of fanzine fandom again in the 1980s and 1990s.
Art Widner currently lives in Gualala, California.
