April Fools Day

April Fools Day was a zine written by Kathleen Hanna in 1995 about recovering from an alcohol addiction.

April Fools Day included a lengthy interview with Brian Sparhawk from the band Fitz of Depression, who was a recovering heroin addict. Hanna also discusses "natural highs" and things you can do when you feel that you are going to be tempted by your vice.

April Fools Day is included in the Sarah Wood Zine Collection at Duke University and in the Sophia Smith Zine Collection at Smith College.
