Amber Dearest lives and makes zines in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

From 2004-2011, she made the perzine Culture Slut. Two issues of Culture Slut appeared as a split zine with Telegram Ma'am, done by Amber's twin Maranda Elizabeth. One issue was split with Stab Heart by Jane Boston of Ohio, U.S.A. and another issue was split with Motor City Kitty. There were twenty-five issues in all.
