His main focus, however, is in AIDS activism, education and research, and he has won the Ontario Leadership award for his work in this capacity, such as speaking to the UN about discrimination against persons with HIV, developing websites and other projects, and working with Positive Youth Outreach since 1998.

Alex McClelland is a zine editor and artist from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
