A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Poughkeepsie was a science fiction fandom fanzine by Miriam Knight.

Published, obviously, in Poughkeepsie, New York, U.S.A., A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Poughkeepsie was an 8 page fanzine was distributed by the Fantasy Amateur Press Association, and included in mailing #103, February 1963.

It included the articles "The Transcendental Fanne, "My Favorite TV Show", "In Memorian: Duchess County", and "Dear Sillies".

Contributors included Jerry Knight, Margo Newkom and Steve Stiles.

Miriam Knight also did the fanzine 100% Whole Wheat with Robert Lichtman (later editor of Trap Door) in the 1960s, as well as her own fanzine, Q.E.D..
