A Bit of Earth mini-zine by Su Mwamba

A Bit of Earth is a mini-zine written by Su Mwamba in April 2010 to commemorate Earth Day. It is also an homage to the classic children's novel, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

The zine includes gardening tips from the The Secret Garden's characters, a spot the difference game (American/European robin), and book reviews of sequels to and novels inspired by The Secret Garden.

The first edition of A Bit of Earth was printed on recycled paper embedded with lavender flowers, and included envelope re-use labels and a packet of poppy seeds. The second edition is printed on lokta paper embedded with seeds, and includes a packet of poppy seeds.
