6 Iron Spikes & a Small Hammer is a DIY low-budget role-playing game (RPG) zine.
The first issue was released in June 2013 and featured a system neutral setting based on The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells. Edited by John Yorio, it is 16 pages, in black and white. A reviewer in Gothridge Manor of June, 2013, writes, "I really enjoyed reading 6 Iron Spikes & a Small Hammer. It has a real zine feel and look. I mean come on, he sewed the pages together with thread or dental floss."
