Ulterior Zines was created by musician and zine maker Alexa Lima in 2016 to bring awareness to issues faced by the BIPOC community, express personal thoughts and dreams from a Black-Indigenous womxn perspective, and connect with people through the zine medium. She is the creator of DOOMED zine, wakeATL zine, Blackout Poetry zine, and numerous art zines.
