Stranger Danger Distro is based in Chicago, IL, and carries feminist zines, queer zines, trans zines, POC zines, & more — zines about identity, home, disabilities, friendship, and survival. The distro was started in 2003 by Jami and Shaun in the close knit suburbs of Detroit, MI. They ran it together for two years while putting out their own respectable zines, No Better Voice and Larceny. After two years, they gave the distro up to the unwielding wilderness of Chicago, IL. In October 2006, lb took over running the distro. In 2010, lb passed on the distro to Heather C.
