Peter Young (1960- ) is a fanzine editor, graphic artist, illustrator, photographer and reviewer born in London, England, now living in Hua Hin, Thailand.
After a seven year gap, the first issue of the e-fanzine Big Sky appeared in March 2013, possibly the first science fiction fanzine from Thailand.
In June 2015 he published the first issues of the paper fanzines The White Notebooks, a quarterly perzine, and The Thai Literary Supplement, a reviewzine of literature about Thailand by Thai and non-Thai authors. The White Notebooks won the FAAn Award for Best Fanzine for Best Personalzine at Corflu 34 in April 2017.
He was first invited to guest-edit Journey Planet in 2009 with James Bacon, Christopher J Garcia and Claire Brialey for Issue 3 with a theme of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, then Issue 7 with a theme of 'Space' in 2010, Issue 12 with a theme of Blade Runner in 2012, and Issue 16 with a theme of 'Philip K. Dick' in August 2013. To date Journey Planet has received 3 Hugo Award nominations and won the Hugo Award for Best Fanzine in 2015.
He has also reviewed for the Science Fiction Foundation's magazine Foundation, the website Strange Horizons and the BSFA's magazine Vector, and is a moderating editor at the ISFDB.
