One of the first generation of punk rock zines to appear in the mid 1970's, More On was from London, England.
At least four issues of this zine appeared in the 1970s.
The main photographer was Rebecca Hale, with additional photos by Sarah Rapson.
The cut and paste fanzine featured interviews with the bands The Clash, Generation X, The Heartbreakers, The Jam, The Slits, and Patti Smith.
As editor Sarah relates, "More On number one was done in two hours at school one afternoon." A number of issues appeared after this inception. Sarah states; "We began More On because we wanted to get 'involved'." "I think we made about 50 copies of the first one using the school machine and then we went to copy shops... We developed the photos in a darkroom in Kentish Town that we accessed by signing up for the local council's photography evening classes... We sold them at the Roxy Club and the market down the World's End. Rough Trade also had them in their record store... I think there were four issues and they were all published 1976-77 - it seemed like a much longer time period!"
