Interphase is a media science fiction fanzine by Connie Faddis.
Interphase was devoted to the original Star Trek television series. It featured silk screened covers and was photo-offset, and contained fiction, poetry, and art work.
The first issue of Interphase appeared in July 1975. It was 99 pages. Contributors of artwork included Deborah Collin, Connie Faddis, Amy Falkowitz, Phil Foglio, Elizabeth Marshall, Kathi Maynard, Diane McVlaugherty, and Gee Moaven. The cover was by Monica Miller and back cover by Gee Moaven. Contributors of writing included Jacquline Lichtenbert, Diane McClaugherty, and Eileen Roy. Poetry was by Becky Baggett, Ruth Berman (Inside Star Trek, T-Negative, The Star Trek Songbook), Claire Brennen, Beth Robertson, and Janice Scott. Cartoons were by Phil Foglio and Anna Mary Hall.
Interphase 2 was released in November 1975, and contained writing by Ruth Berman, Connie Faddis, Claire Gabriel, Barbara Letson, Eileen Roy, Paula Smith (Menagerie), and D.T. Steiner. Poetry was by Ruth Berman, L.V. Fagas, Signe Landon, and Beth Robertson. Cartoons were by Debbie Collin, Artwork was by D.L. Collins, Connie Faddis, Signe Landon, Elizabeth Marshall, Kathi Maynard, Monica Miller, Gee Moaven, Gennie Summers and Anji Valenza. The cover was by Monica Miller and back cover by Gee Moaven.
Issue 3 was published in August 1976 and was 161 pages. It featured a calendar by Gayle F., with the theme Star Trek and literature. The cover is by Connie Faddis, and back cover by Gee Moaven. Interior art work was by Gordon Carleton, Debbie Collin, Connie Faddis, Amy Falkowitz, Signe Landon, Elizabeth Marshall, Diane McClaugherty, Monica Miller, Gee Moaven, Marty Siegrist (Alpha Continuum), and Laura Virgil. Writing was by Paula Block, Ingrid Cross, Carol Frisbie, Anna Mary Hall, Becca Oroukin, Kathy Penland, Eileen Roy, Paula Smith, and Virginia Tilley. Poetry was by L.V. Fargas.
Issue 4 came out in May 1977, with 202 pages, and is the last issue. The cover was by Gayle F., and back cover by Gee Moaven. Interior art work was by Susan Armstrong, Gordon Carleton, Debbie Collin, Mary Ann Emerson, Connie Faddis, Heather Firth, Signe Landon, Elizabeth Marshall, Martynn, Monica Miller, Marty Siegrist, Laura Virgil and Carol Walske. A calendar by Gayle F. is also included in this issue, with the theme Star Trek goes to the movies. Writing was by Ruth Berman, Paula Block, Johanna Cantor, Gordon Carleton, James DiCostanzo, Mary Lou Dodge, Leslie Fish, Claire Gabriel, Mary Ann Hall, Winston Howlett, Jean Lorrah (Pandora), Kathleen Penland, April Pentland, Eileen Roy, Paula Smith, Alice Thompson, Virginia Walker, and Joyce Yasner (Eel-Bird Banders' Bulletin). Interphase was very popular and the early issues were reprinted in 1976 and again in 1977, and 1983.
